Nissin Brake Expands, Adding 30 New Jobs

Rock Spring, GA (December 31, 2013) - Nissin Brake Georgia, Inc., is finishing a 50,000-square-foot expansion and adding 30 new jobs at its Rock Spring, Georgia facility. This nearly $33 million investment will bring the factory's total size to about 150,000 square feet and its workforce to 235 employees.


Woodbrige Expansion to Create 70 New Jobs

Chattanooga, TN ( October 31, 2013) - The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce announced Tuesday that the Woodbridge Group's new manufacturing plant in Chattanooga will employ 70 full-time workers.  The international automotive supplier will invest $8.5 million to add a new formed plastics facility to the the two plants the company already operates in Chattanooga.

WNA Expands

Chattanooga, TN (August 15, 2013) - WNA known as American Plastics for a number of years, unveiled plans to invest nearly $22 million to add a new production line to one of its two local operations and create 53 new jobs over three years. The company employs about 270 workers in Chattanooga.


$88 Million Expansion Underway at LaFayette, Georgia Roper Corporation

LaFayette, GA (August 7, 2013) - GE announced an $88 million expansion at its LaFayette, Geogia-based cooking products plant, as part of a $1 billion investment the company is making in its appliances division.


Convergys Adding 400 Jobs

Chattanooga, TN (August 6, 2013) - Convergys Corp. is creating 400 jobs at its Chattanooga call center. Convergys has a 65,000-square-foot operation at Eastgate Town Center.  These 400 jobs along with the announcement of 500 jobs earlier in the year will bring employment for the company to upward of 1,700 people.

IBI Power Expansion Adds 60 New Jobs, $5 Million in Investment
