FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE December 14, 2011
Kathy Johnson, SEIDA Program Director, Welcomes Mann + Hummel, USA to Tennessee: Chattanooga, Tenn. – “We are pleased that Mann + Hummel has chosen Dunlap, Tennessee as the home for their newest location in the Southeast. This is wonderful news for the rural community of Dunlap/ Sequatchie County. A company location to this site creates great employment opportunity for the residents in Sequatchie Valley. This would not have been possible without the collaboration and partnership of state, regional and local leadership. We truly appreciate all of the hard work of our partners in Dunlap, Sequatchie County, Southeast Tennessee Development District, Sequachee Valley Electrical Co-op, Industrial Development Board of the City of Dunlap, Tennessee Valley Authority and the State of Tennessee. “ The Southeast Industrial Development Association facilitates the creation of jobs, capital investment, additional power load and help with the identification of financing opportunities, infrastructure development, marketing and demographic research throughout the SEIDA service area, which includes counties in Southeast Tennessee, North Georgia and Cherokee and Clay Counties in North Carolina. SEIDA is funded by the Tennessee Valley Authority and local power distributors to provide these valuable services at no cost. For more information, please visit www.seida.info. |
