Marion County Celebrates Pre-Apprenticeship Program

On November 13, 2019, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee spoke about a pre-apprenticeship program launched through a partnership between Chattanooga State Community College, Marion County Schools, and Valmont Industries. Eight high school students, from Marion County schools, were hired by Valmont Industries to participate in the initial cohort of the new work-based learning program. The students officially signed up for the pre-apprenticeship program during National Apprenticeship Week.
